We are in the Toronto area and we are planning a trip to Myrtle Beach, someone just told us that we might not be able to because we don't have photo id for our kids. our kids are 5 and 2 do they really need photo id now?
thanks. Is it true that in order to cross the border our young children need photo id now??
No, children do NOT need photo I.D.! Your photo I.D. must be a gov't issued photo I.D. like a drivers license, and kids can't get those. Just bring their birth certificates. Read the site below CAREFULLY. It says persons over age 19 must present a passport OR other proof of citizenship, like a birth certificate AND a gov't issued photo I.D. If you are FLYING into the U.S.. ALL of you must have passports. Is it true that in order to cross the border our young children need photo id now??
children, no
adults, yes
i know its horrible, but thank god the children dont need it!
