Is it true that other people notice your acne less than you do?

i always say how bad the pimples on my face are, but my mom said their fine for being 15, and all my friends say i have good skin. so why do i notice them so much?Is it true that other people notice your acne less than you do?
thats exactly how i feel too :/


think about how sometimes, you see someone with a cool outfit and think , wow, thats cool, but on the inside they think they look fat or ugly.





I guess its just the self conciousness of being a teen.


Dude, give it a couple years, we'll be adults, we'll have no acne, we'll be ladykillers.

Ever heard the saying ';you are your own worst critic?'; It's always easy for you to point out every imperfection on yourself, even if it's something you wouldn't necessarily notice on those around you.
I think so, but people notice when you have perfect skin.


I think it is natural for people to check you out. Did you know it takes less than half a second for a human being to decided unconsciously whether or not someone is attractive.





If you have a big pimple on your forehead I think people notice.





But if it is small, people aren't looking at you with like microscopes or anything.
You are at an age where appearances are everything. There is no reason that anyone should be suffering from pimples with all the resources dermatologists have these days. If I were your mother I would have taken you to a dermatolgist by now, as I know that we have a tendency to pick on these pesty pimples when they are on our skin, esp. our face. Press your mother to take you as these things will spread if you pick on them without washing your hands, oily skin, leaving pit marks. Your appearance is very important and it does affect your self-esteem. Go to a dermatologist and get your skin clear, your mother is living in the dark ages where everyone would tell you this same thing and your friends are probably jealous and want to see you with pimples. A true friend would tell you to go see a good dermatologist. Believe me, it does affect us at this age.
Think about it - nearly every single teenager has at least some acne. When you see people and they have a bunch of zits, how often do you think to yourself - wow this person really has bad acne.
