Is it true to say that a lot of women dislike bubbly, cheerful girls?

I'm a guy and there's a girl that i'm friends with that is very sweet and bubbly and tends to giggle and laugh a lot. She's great and i don't see anything to dislike about her but i've noticed that a lot of other females don't seem to like her that much, even though she is nice to them. Any ideas?

She might be different around girls when a guy is there, I knew a girl who was a cow to all the girls, but to men she flirted, and when with a girl in front of a man, she would be friendly to the girl.





Giggling tends to get annoying, as if she is acting dumb to look all coy.

it's not that I don't like girls who are bubbly or whatever, but the giggling and obnoxiousness is just plain annoying sometimes
Mabye she tense to act better then the other girl, the other girl might think she's all that and may get a lot of attention to other guys
she might come across as if she is better than everyone eles. i dont really like bubbly people around me all the time. it drives me mad!!
