Is it true that some components of the food specially Iron is not absorbed by body if you drink coffee or tea?

I have heard that some components need by the human body specially iron content of the food is not absorbed to our blood stream if we drink coffee or tea before 2 hours at least. Can you help me to understand this scenario?Is it true that some components of the food specially Iron is not absorbed by body if you drink coffee or tea?
Yes that is true, never take your multi-vitamin with coffee or anything that has caffeine in it buddy
