What are some reasons why other inmates don't want to be around inmates like Ted Bundy who was secluded?

Many of the inmates in jail are in there for lesser charges and bullshit drug charges. Many have families and some degree of respect for human life. Why would it surprise you to find out that the general population in prison reflects, to some degree, the general population as a whole. Many find rapists and serial murderers just as offensive as those not in prison do.





I personally think that rapists and child molesters should be executed more frequently than murderers.
Prisoners despise other prisoners who they perceive as preying on weaker people for their crimes. This includes especially child molesters and rapists.


They are not afraid of serial serial killers. And they don't want to be associated with them. Serial killers may seem scary because they they have no conscience, but they are very rarely physically imposing. They're able to kill because their their victims are taken by surprise. Look at some famous serial killers - John Wayne Gacy, Ted Bundy, Gary Ridgway (The Green River Killer), Dennis Rader The BTK Killer), David Berkowitz (Son of Sam), Richard Ramirez (The Night Stalker)...the list is long. These guys committed scary crimes, but they are (or were) all wimps. They aren't strong or agile. They aren't fierce fighters. They are cowards once their cover is blown . And they are separated from other prisoners for their own protection. Lots of inmates would love to kill a serial killer just for the notoriety they'd receive. They hate serial killers because serial killers have a ';tough'; reputation that they don't deserve. Lots of people thought Jeffrey Dahmer was scary until another inmate caved his head in with a metal bar. Serial killers wouldn't last a day in general population.
I work in a prison, and yes, it's true.


We have to house the S.Os away from everyone else.


However, serial killers aren't really looked down on. Murder is no longer taboo to a lot of the inmates, so a killer isn't as bad as a child molester or rapist.
They really look down on Child Molesters more than the other charges. B/C hurting a child is far worse than killing somebody in prison. You better hope and pray that they don't find out or you hope to see another day. Yes it's true.
yes. the other prisoners hate child molesters and rapists. but serial killers on the other hand, well all the prisoners want them in their gang because they have no heart and will do anything no matter how crazy and sick it is.
