Is it true that when you first start having sex, your period comes later every month?

My boyfriend and I recently began having sex and we are always very careful. We use protection every time and check to see if anything was wrong with the condom before and after intercourse.I was actually supposed to get my period today(Wednesday) but I haven't gotten it yet.A friend of mine told me that when you first start having sex, your period will come later every month. Is this true?Is it true that when you first start having sex, your period comes later every month?
Not unless you are pregnant. But a menstrual cycle isn't an exact science, it's normal to vary by a few days (earlier or later then the previous month) when you start. It's good that you are being cautious. I wouldn't panic as of yet. I bet you'll find you start within a day or two. If it gets to be a week or over then I would suggest a pregnancy test. Good luck!Is it true that when you first start having sex, your period comes later every month?
intercourse can interrupt the regularity of your cycle, for some it comes earlier, for some later, and for some both can happen. Good for you that you practise safe sex.
There is no truth in this at all. Your cycle is unique to you if you still don't have it after a few days I would take a pregnancy test just in case
I have never heard of a period coming later b/c the person is having sex. They told you a fib.
I think your friend lied to you or doesn't know herself. I haven't ever heard of that before.
idk
no this is a myth! you should get checked out!
