Is it true that women hide and men flaunt in change rooms?

I'm 16 and live in Melbourne and often go swimming at the local swimming pool. I always go nude in the showers and changeroom and so do the other guys who are there when I am. The only guys I have seen hide are some teens who are still embarrased about going nude. So pretty much all guys go nude in the change rooms, is this the opposite to women's change rooms cause I've heard they hide and cover everything up when they all have the same parts so why does it matter?Is it true that women hide and men flaunt in change rooms?
I think it has to do with females' perceptions of their body (darn media), and I think it also has to do with age too. I remember in middle school, girls would ALWAYS change in the bathroom or change underneath their clothes (like putting on the PE shirt and taking the normal one off underneath the PE shirt). When girls are younger, they tend to be more self conscious of their bodies because of the whole puberty thing. Younger girls tend to dislike their bodies because they feel awkward developing breasts and such, so they tend to hide more. Older girls seem to care less (notice this in high school and college) and seem to have less of an urge to hide.





So to summarize, it can be true, but not always. I personally do not hide, but I don't flaunt either.Is it true that women hide and men flaunt in change rooms?
haha I guess some women do but most dont. I dont mind. I am very happy with my body and its the same in the womens room. The only ones who really cover up are people who are insecure or teens who dont like their body but i'm 15 and I dont mind and I am like 4'11'; a whopping 75 lbs with A's so I guess it just depends on the person I guess hhah :)
Uh.. I don't know if you've noticed.. but we women -can- be a ruthless species when it comes to appearance. The perception of beauty is so skewed these days that many women are afraid they aren't pretty enough and are embarrassed for other people to see them, especially other women.
well i dont ';hide'; but i dont walk around naked. i shower naked, but i wrap a towel around myself befor i walk to the dressing area. we have the same parts, but so do guys. our boobs are different sizes, we dont want girls to know if we have had sex or not, there are privete things.
