My bible tells me so?
My holy book tells me so?
My preacher told me so?
No man or woman has the right to define the way another who choses to believe in the divine, sees divinity. What justification can you give for the statement one true God?
I think it's fine if a person wants to believe in one true God.
What I dont think is fine is that person believing that they have a right to shove that belief down anyone else's throat and that includes in our government. What justification can you give for the statement one true God?
You're absolutely right. The God I know and love may not be the god that another may worship. I believe in one God, but I also believe that other people experience different aspects of Him...if that makes any sense...and I really hate it when people say ';it's in the Bible.'; that's a huge pet peeve of mine and it's the main reason why I'm not religious..Dear Lord, I got into an argument with two girls in my psychology class because they kept calling the bible ';God's word.'; If they're so ignorant as to go to an ancient book rather than seeking God's word for themselves than of course they're going to have that mentality..okay enough ranting, sorry lol.
God has the right TO judge and he will Judge. God needs no justification. He is the first and the last. If you cannot believe that God is perfect, I guess you will have to wait and see when he returns.
The one true God? You mean Zeus, right? I doubt any of these ppl on here can give justification outside of the other questions you listed, because most of them cannot think for themselves.
I'm sorry, I know its hard, everyone just has different beliefs, maybe you think I'm wasting MY life, but that's YOUR belief.
So, peace out xox
Arrogance
One true god has a rough translation to modern times
My daddy is bigger than your daddy
Because one God makes sense to me. Truth is objective.
They want you to give money to the ';one true God';.
**** you say? I **** hear you.
Because there is only one true God. :)
No, I don't have the right to define how you see divinity. You are free to be wrong.
